Evangelical Community Hospital has entered into a Definitive Agreement to join WellSpan Health

CHICAGO – February 28^TH, 2024 – Evangelical Community Hospital (“Evangelical”) has entered into a definitive agreement with WellSpan Health (“WellSpan”) to combine health systems and to enhance community-based health care across the region.

Evangelical Community Hospital and its accompanying network of care serving the Central Susquehanna Valley will join WellSpan, expanding the combined reach of the organizations across 12 counties in central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland.

Kaufman Hall served as the exclusive financial and strategic advisor to Evangelical in connection with the transaction.
