Michael is a Senior Vice President at Kaufman Hall with over 20 years of healthcare consulting experience. A member of the Strategy and Business Transformation practice, he advises clients on enterprise strategy, care model redesign, and physician strategy to accelerate the transformation of care delivery within their organizations. Michael has worked across all aspects of the provider continuum. He's developed strategies and led engagements for community hospitals, integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers and independent provider organizations.

Michael is committed to problem solving, communication and relationships to achieve successful outcomes for his clients. He has pioneered innovative consulting outcomes such as developing some of the first clinically integrated networks in the country, expanding community-based employed medical groups and scaling large provider networks for academic medical centers. He offers insights into physicians' roles in shaping transformational strategies and gaining market advantages. He also explores the focus on physician relationships and alignment within health systems to enhance financial outcomes and operational efficiency.

Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Michael was a principal for DHG Healthcare in the national strategy practice and held multiple positions at Charis Healthcare after beginning his career at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boston. Michael received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Boston University and competed as a varsity athlete.
