Altais to Acquire Family Care Specialists Medical Corporation

CHICAGO – October 19, 2021, Altais announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Family Care Specialists Medical Corporation.

Kaufman Hall served as the advisor to Altais during the transaction process.

Altais is a healthcare services company launched in 2019 to pioneer next-generation clinical tools and technology along with best practices for high-touch support so physicians can focus on their passion – delivering high-quality, affordable care.

The Family Care Specialists (FCS) Medical Corporation, aka FCS Medical Group, and the FCS IPA collectively serve approximately 30,000 beneficiaries comprised of Medi-Cal, Medicare, Commercial and Covered California coverage and 5% who are uninsured. The FCS Medical Group is dedicated to improving the health status of its patients, their families, and the entire community.
