Amanda Steele is a Managing Director and co-leads Kaufman Hall’s Strategy & Business Transformation practice, where she focuses her time advising health systems and provider enterprises with their enterprise strategy – developing value propositions to deliver on their missions and visions in light of the fast-changing healthcare landscape.
Ms. Steele assists clients with a broad range of governance, operating model strategy, and management structure needs, supporting health systems’ ability to transform while emphasizing the cultural and organizational principles required to drive change.
In addition to enterprise strategic planning. Ms. Steele supports clients with partnership strategy, clinical enterprise redesign through service line planning and care model design, medical group transformation and operational improvement efforts, access to care design and implementation, and physician engagement. She is a frequent speaker and facilitator at board retreats and conferences
Prior to Kaufman Hall, Ms. Steele was Vice President, Provider Enterprise Services at Optum Advisory Services. In that role, she partnered with systems through transformational change management endeavors positioning providers as key leaders. She previously held positions driving growth and building performance improvement technologies at The Advisory Board Company.
Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Chicago.
