Vandalia Health has acquired Plateau Medical Center from CHS

CHICAGO – March 31, 2023, Vandalia Health (“Vandalia”) has acquired Plateau Medical Center (“Plateau”) located in Oak Hill, WV from Community Health Systems, Inc. (“CHS”) (NYSE: CYH).

Vandalia entered into definitive agreements with CHS to acquire Plateau in early January 2023.

Charleston Area Medical Center (Charleston, WV) and Mon Health (Morgantown, WV) officially closed a transaction in August 2022 to become one integrated delivery system called Vandalia Health.

Greenbrier Valley Medical Center (Ronceverte, WV) officially joined Vandalia, effective date January 1st, 2023.

Kaufman Hall served as the exclusive transaction advisor to Vandalia throughout the sale process.
