Paul is a Senior Vice President for Kaufman Hall’s ROI Practice. His responsibilities include overseeing complex engagements across the middle revenue cycle and helping lead the facility outpatient CDI practice. Mr. Searle’s experience includes a variety of projects in the middle revenue cycle including revenue integrity, charge capture, supply standardization, chargemaster, clinical documentation improvement, patient status, and operational improvement. His projects range across the facility and professional settings including inpatient, facility outpatient, clinic, and physician office.
Mr. Searle has more than 11 Years of experience in the healthcare consulting industry including conducting and leading large, multi-faceted assessments and implementations focused on clinical documentation improvement, revenue integrity, patient status, charge capture, coding, and billing. Paul has helped providers achieve improved quality ratings and over $500M in incremental net revenue and worked with hundreds of hospitals ranging from critical access hospitals to large academic hospitals and multi-hospital health systems. Paul has deep knowledge and experience in a variety of areas including acute inpatient (adult and pediatric), facility outpatient, physician office, provider-based clinics, ambulatory surgical centers, inpatient psych, and inpatient rehab.
Mr. Searle earned a Bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Finance from Texas A&M University.
