Mitch Cooper is an Assistant Vice President with Kaufman Hall’s Physician Enterprise practice. He works with healthcare executives and physician leaders to analyze, develop, and implement strategies to optimize physician practice performance.
Mitch came to Kaufman Hall from Rush University Medical Center (RUMC) where he was Practice Administrator for the Cancer Service Line. His responsibilities included overseeing clinical operations teams, bringing oncology medical records collections inhouse, helping to monitor and manage staffing levels, and collaborating with center leaders to expand service line offerings and increase the ambulatory footprint. Mitch’s previous titles with RUMC included Cancer Service Line Project Manager and Emergency Medicine Project Assistant. He also was an Adjunct Faculty with Rush University Health Systems Management and an EMT with emergency services provider Magen David Adom in Jerusalem.
Mitch holds an M.B.A. from DePaul University, an M.S. in Health Systems Management from Rush University, and a B.S. in Public Health from Indiana University.
