She has over 30 years of broad healthcare experience with 15+ years of expertise in case management redesign, length of stay reduction, and patient throughput process improvement. She has a strong passion for helping healthcare organizations identify operational deficiencies and streamline operations to improve patient outcomes. Her experience in utilization review, status and level of care accuracy at portals of entry and partnership with revenue cycle team to align utilization management strategies with business goals. Practiced at coordinating facility space, resources and staff to efficiently meet dynamic demands. Well organized, proactive and tactful in working with individuals of all backgrounds.
Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Ms. Annala-Rogers worked over 6 years as an Associate Director at Berkeley Research Group leading length of stay and patient throughput process improvement initiatives. Ms. Annala-Rogers has held several staff and leadership positions in case management and nursing. Previous leadership roles include Care Coordination Manager of a 400+ bed community hospital system, Interim Case Management Director at hospitals in Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania, Regional Performance Director for a Managed Care Organization and Clinical Services Director for a 33 physician Nephrology Practice, Phoenix, Arizona.
Ms. Annala-Rogers is an Accredited Case Management Registered Nurse, certified by the American Case Management Association and holds a Certification in Care Coordination and Transition Management through the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing and the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board. She has a B.S.N. from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in Eau Claire, WI.
