Holly Houston Benedict is a Senior Vice President for Kaufman Hall’s Treasury and Capital Markets practice. She works with healthcare organizations nationwide, providing financial advisory services in the capital portfolio areas including bond financings, private bank lending, interest rate swaps, capital structure strategy, and credit positioning.

Holly previously worked for a non-profit foundation investing in agricultural development projects in emerging markets. As Director of Finance, she oversaw public and private sector funding of more than $40 million dedicated to alleviating poverty in farming communities. Holly has also worked in the investment banking sector specializing in tax-exempt structured financings for not-for-profit healthcare providers with experience in more than $8 billion of transactions for leading health care systems across the country.

Holly most recently served as a Director at Ponder & Co. for the Capital Advisory Group, where she was responsible for evaluating the financial performance of hospitals and healthcare systems, credit, and debt capacity analysis, and developing and executing financing plans for her clients.

Holly holds a B.B.A. in Finance and French from Texas Christian University and was honored with Summa Cum Laude distinction; she is a registered Municipal Advisor (Series 50).
